  4. Thank you for purchasing Payroll Plus.  It is very easy to use, and easy to
  5. correct mistakes.  It prints great reports each of which can be grouped and
  6. ordered 45 different ways, as well as setting a range within each group.
  7. It can print 3 different paycheck formats, W-2 and W-3 forms, and labels.
  8. In addition to federal payroll taxes, it handles and calculates state
  9. payroll taxes for all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia.  Federal and
  10. state unemployment taxes are kept track of, also.

  12. Payroll Plus is a developed application of SBase4Pro, a relational database
  13. program.  A copy of the lastest version is included with this product, yet it
  14. comes without the SBase4 Forms Designer, manuals, and auxillary files.  You can

  18. Payroll Plus requires a harddrive and Amiga DOS 2.x or higher to run on.
  19. To install Payroll Plus, simply double click on the install icon and follow the
  20. directions.  You will be asked what directory or drawer you would like the
  21. PayrollPlus directory placed in.  Once installed you will find the start icon
  22. and program inside the PayrollPlus Directory.

  24. Help screens are available at every point in the program, by pressing the
  25. HELP key.

  27. After installing and upon opening up, the first place to start is the Company
  28. Information menu selection.  Enter the relevant information about your business
  29. or organization.  Also, set a few program preferences you will find there, such
  30. as printer selection and screen mode and size.  Warning!  If you do not have
  31. a multisync monitor then don't make a DBLNTSC screen mode selection.  You may
  32. have problems and have to reinstall Payroll Plus.  The full effect of a screen
  33. mode and size change will not take place until you close and reopen the program.

  35. The program comes with 3 dummy employees entered for demonstration purposes.
  36. When you start to enter employee information regarding your actual employees,
  37. enter a few first before deleting the dummy employees.  If there are no
  38. employee entries at all in the program, then the program has some problems in
  39. a few places.  As long as there is at least one employee entered, then every
  40. thing will be fine.  When you go to delete the dummy employees, make sure you
  41. have already entered a termination date for those employees.
